Enduring the Summer Heat

We all know that South Carolina summers can be tough. And it's no easier for your car. Here are some ways to protect your windshield and auto glass from extreme temperatures.

• Get chips and cracks repaired quickly. The heat can make these worse and lead to more expensive problems down the line.
• Whenever possible try to park in the shade.
• Gradually ease into  your A/C. Let the temperature cool down slowly instead of blasting cold air hot glass that could lead to cracks.
• Don't slam your car doors. This could worsen existing problems in your windshield or window glass.

This year Mother's Day turns 100! The first Mother's Day was celebrated in 1914 after being designated a national holiday by President Woodrow Wilson.
