Low Iron Glass

Did you know that almost all glass plates come with a green tint? You may not have paid much attention but basic glass has a distinct green tint, especially when viewed from the edge. During the glass creation process, iron is used as a lubricant and creates a green tint. Depending on the thickness of the glass and what the glass is used for, the tint may be more evident.

When designing your frameless or semi-frameless shower, talk to Century Glass about their low-iron, extra clear glass option. We proudly offer this alternative for those with discerning taste in their custom shower selections. Low-iron glass -  it's a difference you will see....clearly!
